Salvaging the sails

This is another re-blog of a post I wrote on my old blog, and for fear of repeating myself about certain topics I’ve had experiences with in life, I decided that actually, it serves as a reminder that recovery truly is a journey that takes time over many years, usually. This is not a bad thing. In fact, the realisation that I was blogging with a faith and zest in determination to achieve recovery years ago, and (despite this not being a ‘smooth’ road), I have not lost my hope or passion to achieve my goal.

Eventually, perseverance wins.
